Requirements:
- Active Life Producer License in your state of residence (Virginia or West Virginia)

- Series 65, Series 7/66 licenses
- Experience managing assets under management (AUM)
- Prior experience in the financial services or insurance industry

Cornerstone Advisor Group (CAG) is looking for an entry-level administrative assistant with excellent customer skills. Applicants should be motivated, independent, responsible, ethical, and detail-oriented with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of products. The position is open immediately to an applicant who wants to assist our members and their families in obtaining a strong financial future.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Energetic, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills both in person and on the phone
- Strong computer and electronic skills on multiple platforms for text messaging, emailing, multiple calendar programs and Microsoft Office
- Quick learner for basic documentation, service work and file preparation
- Patient and able to multi-task between multiple advisors
- Strong organizational skills
- Independent, task-oriented worker who is self-motivated and will meet daily expectations.
- Provide polite, professional assistance and proactive via phone/text, mail and email as well as providing a positive presence in the workplace.
- Works well with others in a quick-paced team environment.
The Administrative Assistant job will require you to perform the following tasks:
- Phones: Will be responsible for answering the phone during office hours.
- Calendars/Scheduling: Scheduling appointments and making sure they are on all calendars necessary, and appointments kept up to date. Once an appointment is made, sending a confirmation letter out with all the requirements in it for the first meeting. Also confirming these appointments, the week prior (via postcard) and then the day prior. Methods used are phone call and text as well as email. If something has changed (phone, names, address) during these conversations, changing these in the database to reflect these updates.
- Appointments: Prepare conference room 30 minutes before scheduled appointments. Greet clients when they come in, offer drinks, and escort them to the appropriate conference room. Call advisor to notify their arrival.
- General Office: Keep the office looking great and make sure there are plenty of supplies i.e. copy paper, coffee and coffee supplies, water, snacks, etc.
- Organization: Must be organized and have a system. Must collaborate with advisors and other administrative and support personnel as well as clients daily. Communicate constantly with your advisor so they know where their appointments stand. Let them get involved when needed with a client.
- Other Skillsets: Comfortable with Microsoft and have solid computer skills, detailed, organized, proactive, team player, self-starter. Good verbal and written skills. Must present a calm demeaner and always put the client first. Many other excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
